When you have an impure sexual relationship, you get an adrenaline rush. And when you have premarital sex, you develop an appetite for sneaking around and having sex. But when you get married, you don’t have to sneak around anymore.
That’s why some people say, “I don’t feel the same as before we got married.”
What this can lead to is flirting or talking with someone else, and then you have to cover it up. You have to be deceptive. What you’re actually doing is fulfilling a desire, an appetite, that God never intended for you to have.
